We're so glad you've signed up for our retreat! And we honor your commitment to making space for your grief. To that end, we know life sometimes gets in the way of our plans. We also know that what feels or sounds good one moment may shift as the date draws nearer. Suddenly, we wonder, is this really best right now? Maybe we worry about some aspect of the retreat or the journey to getting there, or our schedule starts to feel too full. There are any number of reasons why someone may sign up for a grief retreat and then change their minds. And we invite you to consider that many of these reasons are also why we stay stuck in our grief, why we flounder without tools and resources to support ourselves, why we feel isolated and alone. The moment you sign up for this retreat is the moment you root into your commitment to show up, for yourself, for your grieving heart and for every griever who will be part of this sacred container. You're honoring our time, your time and everyone else's time. 

Yes, your grief may start to get activated the closer to our gathering. This is perfectly normal. The medicine has begun its work. And your presence and attention are deeply needed, in those days before we meet and in our time together.
